"With fuel and without fuel I am always burning;
With smoke and without smoke I am always glowing;
With flame and without flame I am always shining;
I am immortality in Knowledge,
I am equality in essence,
I am like the sky.”
~ The Avadhuta Gita

When all of your flaws and all of my flaws are laid out one by one
Wonderful part of the mess that we made we pick ourselves undone
All of your flaws and all of my flaws, they lie there hand in hand
Ones we’ve inherited, ones that we learn, they pass from man to man

There’s a hole in my soul
I can’t fill it, I can’t fill it
And there’s a hole in my soul
Can you fill it? Can you fill it?

You have always worn your flaws upon your sleeve
And I have always buried them deep beneath the ground
Dig them out, let’s finish what we started
Dig them out, so nothing’s left untouched

“The intellect is a beautiful servant but a terrible master. Intellect is the power tool of our separateness. The intuitive, compassionate heart is the doorway to our unity.”

‎Dancing is not just getting up painlessly, like a leaf blown on the wind; dancing is when you tear your heart out and rise out of your body to hang suspended between the worlds.

The addiction to drugs, food, alcohol, etc. is nothing compared to the addiction we humans have to thinking. Sitting quietly in silence is so foreign to most of us that the mind quickly starts thinking of its “problems” simply because it feels more “natural.”

We say we want peace, but because of our conditioning many of us actually feel more comfortable worrying. Worrying about what? Anything, the mind is not picky.

Use your senses fully. Be where you are. Look around. Just look, don’t interpret. See the lights, shapes, colours, textures. Be aware of the silent presence of each thing. Be aware of the space that allows everything to be. Listen to the sounds; don’t judge them. Listen to the silence underneath the sounds. Touch something - anything- and feel and acknowledge its Being. Observe the rhythm of your breathing; feel the air flowing in and out, feel the life energy inside your body. Allow everything to be, within and without. Allow the “isness” of all things. Move deeply into the Now
